it's been a tumultous week
jail
dui charge
having to take a damn breath test
twice! a day at the sheriff office
and i've felt the
f t u
a i g e
in my soul a bit
but positive growth requires a
P O S I T I V E
M I N D S E T
and largely
i've been successful
but it's not just due to me
i've met some of the kindest people
in what could be a much darker time
without their
~`~´´\\\L I G H T///´´~´~
on craigslist (yeah i still use it)
i put an ad for a couch to surf
this incredibly kind, older woman
responded and offered to help
not with a couch, but to let me pitch
a large, canvas tent she'd found online
in her backyard
and even though i'd offered to pay weekly
she turned me down
and instead
offered to pay me for doing yardwork
an hour for every two i did
as a compromise for me wanting
to reciprocate for the space
much better than sleeping
in an economy car
being a 6ft guy in all
and it's been so heartwarming <3
to be <3<3
around a postitive <<33

after all the
